Couldn't resist. Had to try and bid for an Oakfern, especially after playing Skyrim and seeing the Vale Deer (google them). Those shrooms in the BG, they took me so long - but I LOVED coloring them. All Glowy and stuff, I love that scenery After doing this bid, Its really safe to say I'd want to play an Oakfern. I know I said "I'm going to keep it at 2 to be safe", but that was before I even knew how fun drawing these little guys are XD

Kro may appear calm and silent on the outside, but once you get to know the old Oakfern stag he's quite the mastermind - evil to those outside the herd, but a hero perhaps to those who share his caves. By nature, Kro is an aspiring water mage and spends the majority of his days alone, studying in the caves, collecting specimens, practicing on them, etc.. He's not the friendliest of fawnlings, not even to most in his herds, and is often distrusting of those who wish to learn under him or ask for his help. Some even consider the isolated fawnling to be insane, his only friends being the bugs and the owls. Once you gain his trust however, Kro is a very useful ally to have. He may not be the strongest fawnling, but his tactical thinking and tricky antics are hard to get around for most unprepared fawnlings.

He's also a pretty damn good make up artist.

History: (might expand it later on)

Kro was born into the Oakfern herd like any other fawn would be. His parents were average mages and he was just one of the many fawns to be born in his season. He was loved by his parents and had plenty of friends to romp around with, nothing strange or unordinary with his birth. The first few years of his life were spent normally, discovering his talent for magic with the other fawns of his season, all went well in the first years of his life and he was happy- well, for having to live his life in a cave.

No one quite knows what turned him into his secretive, bitter, old-grumpy attitude, but all that the fawnlings around him know is that it happened sometime around when he was 6. Some say it had something to do with his parents, others said it had something to do with a rejected love, but no one knows for sure - only Kro. But Kro keeps his secrets locked up inside him and is sworn to his own word to not speak of any of them. On that day, it was said that he "snapped" and turned into the attitude he holds today. After that one unknown day, Kro disappeared from the normal herd meeting areas, and secluded himself in the deep caverns and passageways. Only on rare occasions would he show his face to the herd, whether to talk or gather supplies, but then he would vanish almost as quickly as he arrived.

Nowadays, Kro spends his time practicing his magic and studying the many unknown fungi and herbs that dwell deep in the caves. He finds peace in solitude, but also misses having intelligent conversations with other fawnlings - but he doesn't cry over it. No, Kro finds peace and serenity in solidtude - but if he does desire social interaction there is always his reflection, or bugs, or owls, or more bugs, maybe his reflection again - oh yes, endless conversation...
